Before that he was in the shelter after being abandoned in an apartment after his owners moved out - they just left him behind! My BIL had to go overseas for work, and we took in Marlowe, who is now definitely our cat. Lol. He hid here for about two months in a back bedroom I made into the cat room, then he finally ventured out. Now he is so bonded to Penny. He always wants to be with her, even when she is eating. Lol.
